a bit withdrawn and cool towards others. really prefers the
lightweb to real life, but copes. not bad when (if) you get to
know him. willing to help where and how he can. doesn't realize
how smart he really is.

history:
Jaireds father works in the research labs on the first Atlantis
platform. jaired really doesn't know what he does other than it is
real technical. Jaireds mother is working on her doctorate in
oceanography (using the platforms as her basis). Given the smarts
of his parents it is no suprise that he has inhereted their
brains, unfortunately he lacks his mothers personableness, leaving
him a bit cut off from others. that condidtion is only enhanced by
his love of computers.
Before his family moved to Geocity, they were living in
japan as independant contractors (father for Kyoto tech, mother
working at Tokyo university as an instructor. His parents carrers
have left little time for him, but it all works.
Jaireds circle of friends is close-knit and limited, chiisai
befriended him while he was living in japan, Isa was met through
Chiisai, Auzzie was met across pods in a tourney, as was jenny.
Jaireds free time (when not working at the Arena) is usally spent
coming up with (and trying out) new designs for VM. he is not
above using his access to the Arenas core computers to debug his
design. One thing Jaired IS legendary fro is complete lack of
consistancy in the VM he pilots - even the current 2 he uses
(archon and pathbreaker) have at least 3 variations on disk. if
he'd only stick with his designs, he'd probably be MUCH higher
ranked - he tends to lose rank points on some of the designs he
uses. he shrugs it off and builds another one that /should/ do
better.
Jaired is considering graduating Intron High early to start at the
Icarus University, but really doesn't want to leave his few
friends behind (ironically the youngest, Isa, is the one he can
fully talk with on an equal level, his other friends tend to look
like a deer in headlights)
