HUANG LEI-MING

APPEARANCE: Chinese, 15 years old, dark green odango hair (a la
Shampoo or Chun Li), short, light build.  Wears a dark blue coat
and skirt and a yellow blouse.

BACKGROUND/PERSONALITY:  Lei-Ming grew up in Hong Kong, the
daughter of a computer programmer.  Her parents died recently, and
she was sent to live with her uncle in Tokyo.  She is having some
trouble adjusting to her new life, and has only made one real
friend so far (Natsumi).  She would like to make more, but her
shy, quiet nature makes this difficult.  Lei-Ming is intelligent
and does well at school, and very skilled at programming. She
helps Natsumi with designs for her VM, and Natsumi recently
encouraged her to enter the competition herself.  BTW, she can't
speak Japanese perfectly yet, so she speak like Shampoo, yes?

I've thought of a few more things for Lei-Ming: Her uncle is an
exec at a programming firm which has (among other things) been
licensed to do custom-building of VM mecha, and Lei-Ming works
part-time there (she keeps pretty quiet about this, BTW). 
Naturally, she gets quite a bit of inside info this way. She
generally keeps this from Natsumi, though, unless she finds out
someone's planning a dirty trick.
