Sundown is the screen name of the Kindjal's pilot, a very cute Russian girl named Tamiyka Borodinya whose piloting skills are best described as "pretty good" - about average for PCs, in other words. Her skill at programming isn't anything special, her weapons are basically making a basic weapon system way overpowered and cramming it in wherever it'll fit. The exception to this is the Psycho Kick, which was written for her by a friend after witnessing Tamiyka on a **SUGARBUZZ*** dealing with a Senior who tried to get fresh with her. She's on a again-on, again-off relation with Mike "Mustard", never lasting a full week with or without him. Also, she's the "best of enemies" of Alexei, her fellow Russian pilot, to whom she kepts those insults she don't venture to throw to Mustard each time they broke and those nasty new martial arts kicks she codes on her mecha, but each time someone interferes betwen their fights, both of them work as the Temible Team untill the interloper is no more (verbally or virtually speaking -by now...) Note: "Kindjal" is the name of a kind of sword used by the Cossacks, a military subculture of czarist Russia that formed the basis and origins for a number of the mythic heroes of Slavic storytelling. Kind of like the Light Brigade in Europe. As of Game Start Time, Tamiyka has only really known about VM for a month or three, having been introduced to it by Mustard on one of their early dates. For the first month and a half or so, she just played in Arcade Mode, with the stock VMs, and got to the point where she wasn't half bad and decided to play Campainge Mode, buying a copy of her fave stock unit to start with. Naturally, being a stock mecha, it was barely able to keep up with the many custom jobs of Campaign Mode competition. This was good for her piloting skill, forcing her to improve relatively rapidly, but frustrating, so she started learning VMPL coding with Mustard, and working on Kindjal, which is about 3/4 done as of Game Start Time. It so happened that just a day or two before Game Start, she entered a game in the Domino Death arena that IYS (Who is just one of the people in the crowd at the arcade, basically) had also entered, as the last time he'd play with the Mad Cow before switching to his brand new unit, just finished, and which he promised to give a copy of to whoever killed him and/or won the game, whichever came first. Tamy shot away the last bit of support on a Tall skyscraper and knocked it over on top of him... splat! True to his word, IYS had the game attendant copy his code onto the blank portion of Tamy's VM cartridge, and now appears at the arcade in a somewhat similar unit with a buldozer motif instead of bovine. Tamy considers the avatar ridiculous (Though Mike loves it, naturally) but as it's tougher, faster, and hits harder than her previous, stock unit and does have a certain unique style to it, she pilots it anyway, until Kindjal is finished and debugged at least.
