NOTES: The "mouth" has retractable, cobra-like fangs. On either side, and able to wrap around it like lips, are a pair of Quick, Handy, Entangling tentacles. The "jaw" and "lips" are programmed to move in synch with the pilot's speech unless they're being used as weapons at the time. The missile rack has five tubes, but typically holds seven missiles. The center three tubes each house a single, high-yeild explosive missile, while the leftmost tube houses two smoke/scatter missiles and the rightmost, two Hypervelocity flare / antimissiles.

PLANNED UPGRADES: Might include using SFX Weapon on the "mouth" to port over Incendiary from Projos to simulate injecting acid into the wound. Another possible upgrade to the Heimdall, one designed into the avatar, is transforming to a full fighter-form. This would be a +x.3 multi, for a total cost of 204.1 code blocks.
CPU VERSION: Another prebuild, the Heimdall is very good for it's type, but is longer on offense than defense. It's a perennial faveorite of Arcade Mode players, though it's a "hidden unit" in the Arcade game - you have to be below 1/3 kills on a certain level and land in a Police hangar, then unlock it with a mecha-sized control panel on one wall. Having done this, a little movie plays of the blast door opening, a pilot (gender matches the player, though hearing a dark helmet and covered by a flightsuit) getting out of their trashed-looking Arcade Mode mecha and into the Heimdall prototype. Some later levels of the game have them as opponents, but only the prototype can be stolen. That's what prototypes are for, after all, isn;t it? ^_^
The production model opponents have one size greater servos and armor, with correspondingly less space eff, but no verniers and reduced top speed from the weight. The "handy" modifier has also been dropped from the tentacles.
