UN Peacekeeping forces during their last border conflict a year
ago, attacks that caused the loss of a UN pilot. Capt. Moto was
shot down over the disputed territory, and according to his wing men managed
to eject, but neither country claims to hold him nor even having
found him.
Both sides keep blaming each other and cite this incident as an
example of the other country's aggressiveness.
In Local events, the association of families of missing soldiers,
led by Capt. Moto's family, demanded that every effort should
be made to recover our country's soldiers. In response, the Japanese

PERSONAL INFORMATION: |
Physical Description:
Japanese male, 16 years old
White hair he wears long w/ bangs, blue eyes
|
Personality:
Intellectual and detached but valoring true friendship above anything
else
A quote: "An 'honor-code' who forces you to do a thing which is
dishonorable for itself is not much of an honor code, right?"
(frequently said by his brother, he uses to quote it).
|
Friends:
Akira's got several school pals and even an ex-girlfriend (although
he's currently uninvolved and momentarily not very interested
on the matter, not while other aspects of his life are so messed-up,
at least), but right now he spends most of his spare time on the
mall, prowling the VM arcade. He needs something to clear his
young, angst-ridden mind for a while, and burning lotsa adrenaline
juice on the pods is as good a way as any other, and better than
many, of doing that.
|
Enemies:
None (yet)
|
Relatives:
Hikaru: Father
Misa: Mother
Hayao: Older bother (MIA and presumed dead) (*)

Personal History:
Akira is the second son of the owners of a small computer games
store. Both their parents work at the store, as he does sometimes
to "lend a hand". He better does, since the shop's current financial
situation is less than sterling after his parents spent most of
the family's money trying to locate his older son, MIA when he
was acting as "blue helmet" on the last Indian-Pakistany frontier
struggle (he was the only casualty of said struggle, when he was
shot down by a portatil SAM which holed his wing. He managed to
eject, but was not found). Akira thinks his father somewhat blames
him, since he supported his older brother's (who held Akira's
opinion very high, since both brothers hero-whorshipped each other)
decision of offering himself voluntary for the peace forces. (His
parents don't blame him, but he thinks so anyway).
He and was once taught the basics of some combat skills (Aikido,
combat knife, Toyama-Ryu -military katana swordplay-, pistol...)
by his brother. He still cleans regularly his brother's katana
and sidearm, but other than that he would touch them only on a
REAL dire strait!
His most precious possesion is the old Yamaha sintetizer (a mammoth,
profesional level one) that was his missing brother's. He also
owns an all-terrain 125cc bike.
He always pilots the same kind of VM: Jet Fighters (sometimes
Hybrids for Walking capabilities), modelled after the one his
brother flight in real life before crashing on that stupid frontier
incident over a faraway foreign land (pause for a pathos small
tear).
(*): That's NOT advised to be said to him unless you're itching
for AND up to a fight |

Akira calmly switched the TV off. He slowly, deliberately, placed
the remote control on the table. If he didn't, he would probably throw
it at the screen.
He made a effort not to look at his brother's picture on the shelf.
He failed. His mother stubbornly refused to place any kind of
mourning ribbon on the pic, but his father was starting to despair.
Akira grabbed his jacket and his VM disk. He was most definitely
badly in need of firing at something.
